| It was at Alface Hall, that Jornal Dínamo® met the luso-canadian band MÉNAGE, that anyone talks about. The Ménage, are already known in Portugal and all over the world.
They are in Portugal to present the second work (first in Portugal), “The Great American Lie” and we had the opportunity to talk with the brothers and sister Ferreira, and with Oscar Bass and Shane Fester.
It was a great and delight conversation in what everyone talked a little bit about what’s behind Ménage.
Foi no bar Alface Hall que o Jornal Dínamo® foi encontrar a banda luso-canadiana MÉNAGE, que está a dar que falar. Os Ménage chegaram para vencer e já têm fãs que os seguem pelo mundo fora.
A passagem deles por Portugal, foi a oportunidade de falarmos com Bela, Fernando e Gabriel Ferreira, os irmãos que compõem os Ménage, juntamente com Oscar Bass e Shane Fester.
Foi uma conversa divertida em que todos falaram um pouco do que está por trás do projecto Ménage.
Jornal Dínamo – I would like to know a little bit about you and the project Ménage, and when did music start to become part of your life?
Gostava de saber um pouco acerca de vocês e o projecto Ménage, e quando é que ele começou a fazer parte da vossa vida?
Fernando Ferreira – We kind of play music since were all small children. Me and my brother were in bands together, and my sister was doing her own thing. A few years back we started to work together for the first time and started to write music. So we decided to create the music and then the band, so the band appear after the music had been created or even the name.
Oscar is from Toronto, from where our parents are and where we spent a lot of time and then Shane join us and we decided to create Ménage as people know today.
Nós já tocamos desde miúdos. Eu e o meu irmão estivemos juntos em diversas bandas. A minha irmã esteve envolvida noutros projectos. Há uns anos atrás juntámo-nos e começámos a trabalhar. Começámos a compor músicas e só depois criámos a banda e demos-lhe um nome.
O Oscar Bass que é de Toronto, onde os nossos pais vivem e onde passámos muito tempo, juntou-se ao grupo e o Shane Fester também. E agora, somos os Ménage tal como as pessoas conhecem.
Bela Ferreira – Like Fernando said, we studied music when we were young, classic music and sometimes we road together and share the stage, but it’s the first time we are doing it all together and that feels real natural… that’s very good.
Como o Fernando disse, nós estudámos música quando erámos mais novos, música clássica e também estivemos na estrada e partilhámos o palco, mas esta é a primeira vez que estamos a fazer algo juntos e é algo bastante natural… e muito bom.
J.D. – How do you choose the name, Ménage?
Como é que escolheram o nome Ménage?
Fernando – I didn’t really think about it too much. I like short names, i like the sound, but also we thought it made sense, because Ménage is like a group, like a community living in some ways, and sharing things. But i didn’t thought about it. Now i realize we have to live with it for the rest of our lives (laughs), so i started to think about it more.
Eu nunca pensei muito nisso. Eu gosto de nomes curtos e gostei do som, mas também pensámos que fazia sentido, porque Ménage é como um grupo ou uma comunidade que vivem de certa forma e partilham coisas. Mas realmente não pensei muito nisso, mas agora apercebo-me que vou ter de viver com ele para o resto da vida (risos), por isso agora penso um bocadinho mais.
Oscar Bass – I was around, playing last summer, and then a mutual friend recomended me to play base with Ménage, and now i can say that it’s been stupid amounts of fun (laughs)… playing in cool shows and stuff, that’s being really great for me. The songs are just awesome perfectly well written by huge people and that’s a really good project and environment to be.
Eu andava a tocar umas coisas, no Verão passado, e um amigo mútuo, recomendou-me para tocar baixo com os Ménage, e tem sido estupidamente divertido (risos)… tocar com eles em espectáculos, tem sido muito bom para mim. As músicas são simplesmente fantásticas, muito bem escritas por grandes pessoas e sem dúvida que tem sido muito bom, fazer parte deste projecto.
Bela – Well, and his hair matches our hair so (laughs).
Bem, o cabelo dele também condiz com o nosso (risos).
J.D. – You are sister and brothers. Tell me how it is work with family, it’s better than work with friends, or the same?
São dois irmãos e uma irmã. Digam-me como é trabalhar em família, melhor do que trabalhar com amigos ou é igual?
Gabriel – Well, everyone has his own oppinion. It really deppends on the day and the situation, but the band is prety much like any type of work environment when you are dealing with family… it is what it is… we don’t have so much filters, as if we were working with colleges who are not related, and sometimes we have lack of… i guess… respect for each other sometimes, but when you get through that, there are many beneficts, because you have a better understanding based on you are working with. Even when things are not always great, you know who they are, because you known them all your live and you know that aren’t really any agendas. Everyone really cares about the project and is looking for the best interest of the project within, so that’s a healthy environment to be. And also Oscar and Shane brought a good vibe to the band and that translates the kind of persons that are in the project.
The decisions are always prety diplomatic and unanimous and everyone as to agree on them.
Cada um terá a sua opinião, depende do dia e da situação, mas a banda é mais ou menos igual a qualquer outro projecto que envolva família… é o que é. A verdade é que não existem tantos filtros, como se estivéssemos a trabalhar com colegas, e por vezes há por assim dizer alguma falta de respeito, mas quando isso se ultrapassa, há muitos benefícios porque as pessoas conhecem-se bem, e não existe nenhum tipo de segunda intenção. Todos se preocupam muito com o projecto e fazem tudo em prol dele, e isso cria um ambiente saudável. Também o Oscar e o Shane vieram trazer boas vibrações à banda e isso mostra o tipo de pessoas que estão no projecto.
As decisões são sempre muito diplomáticas e unânimes e todos têm de estar de acordo com elas.
J.D. – Last year, 2015, you signed a deal with I Play Records out of Portugal, how did this happened?
O ano passado, 2015, assinaram com a produtora I Play Records fora de Portugal, como tudo aconteceu?
Bela – One way or another with us, things had come to us. It’s usually nice, because it’s been very organic the way things had happen.
We are so busy writing and trying to perform in a very personal kind of way that has been natural the way music get to people. It’s a great thing and what happened was that they found out about us and they try to reached us, some years ago but didn’t work out, but now it did. It really weird the way that world works… so what’s meant to be… it’s meant to be.
De uma forma ou de outra, as coisas vieram ter connosco. É agradável porque acabou por ser algo muito orgânico, a forma como tudo aconteceu.
Andamos tão ocupados a escrever que nem nos apercebemos como é que as coisas têm acontecido de forma tão natural. Eles conheceram-nos já há uns anos, e tentaram contactar-nos, mas na altura não funcionou… mas agora sim. É um pouco estranho a forma como o mundo funciona… o que tem de ser… tem muita força.
Gabriel – The project already had legs. Artisticaly speaking we have a Foundation. The songs were written, and who we are is who we are and never had been a disctractor about what the band is and about what the band does and from that point of view we are taking care more of the business. What we do, is really us.
They make the part of the business, but the business is us, and we take care of it, and we always want to keep it that way.
O projecto já tinha pernas para andar e já tínhamos uma boa fundação. As músicas foram escritas e o que somos é mesmo o que somos e nunca houve uma distracção acerca do que a banda é ou faz e desse ponto de vista nós estamos a cuidar mais do negócio. O que fazemos é o que nós somos. Eles fazem a parte do negócio, mas o negócio somos nós, e tomamos conta dele, e queremos manter sempre isso assim.
Meanwhile, Shane Fester, join us for our interview and tell us a little bit about what is to be part of Ménage.
Shane Fester – I’m just happy to play with these guys. I actually start working with Ménage by taking photos of them, so i watch them jam, and then we jam together a little bit… but after we take photos (laughing). So i took photos of them performing a couple of times and i help Fernando to tune guitars for a big show that they did and so that was my introduction to the band and now i’m in it. I’m very exciting to being here performing in their home country.
Entretanto, Shane Fester, juntou-se à entrevista e contou-nos um pouco da sua experiência nos Ménage.
Eu estou muito feliz por tocar com todos. Eu comecei a trabalhar com os Ménage a tirar-lhes fotos, então assistia aos gigs, depois fizemos gigs juntos… e depois tirávamos fotos (risos). Tirei fotos deles a actuar algumas vezes e acabei por ajudar o Fernando com a afinação das guitarras para um grande concerto que deram e esse foi o meu começo e agora estou com eles. Estou muito feliz de poder tocar, principalmente no seu país de origem.
J.D. – You released in Portugal a full length, in September, tell me about it?
Lançaram em Portugal um álbum completo, em Setembro, falam-me dele?
Fernando – Well, there are songs slowly recorded in Toronto while we where touring and that was released has an E.P. in North America, like a short little album. Then, we tour that and after, when we come back we recorded the second and put them together. They talk about our day to day, and our experiences. There are 10 songs that were written in the studio, some in 2013 with diferent inspiration, in States and others here in Portugal and then we put them all together.
São músicas que levaram o seu tempo a gravar, em Toronto enquanto estávamos em tour e este trabalho foi lançado em E.P. na América do Norte, como um álbum pequeno. Depois, fizemos a tour com elas e depois quando voltámos gravámos uma segunda e juntámos tudo. Elas falam do nosso dia-a-dia e das nossas experiências. São 10 músicas que foram escritas em estúdio algumas em 2013 com diferentes inspirações, nos Estados Unidos e em Portugal e depois juntou-se tudo.
Bela
J.D. – You lived between Toronto, Canada and a small town in Portugal (Mira).
How well are you known in Mira?
Viveram entre Toronto, Canada e a vila de Mira, em Portugal. Conhecem-vos em Mira?
Bela – Well, it’s really strange, but yes. We are known there.
É muito estranho, mas sim. Nós somos lá conhecidos.
Gabriel – We are huge in Mira (laughs).
Nós somos gigantes em Mira (risos).
Bela – When we landed here, we went first to Mira and then we came to Lisbon, and when we were there, a family in a car started to shout “Ménage, from Portugal” and putting their tumbs out (laughing), and it wasn’t anyone we knew. So was very cool.
We don’t have family there anymore, but we have friends and it reminds us our childhood, when we were kids.
We born in Toronto. My father is from Machico, Madeira and our mother from Mira, but they met in Toronto, and we born there.
Quando aterrámos em Portugal, fomos primeiro a Mira e depois então viemos para Lisboa. E quando estivemos em Mira, houve uma família que ia num carro e de repente viram-nos e gritaram “Ménage de Portugal” e fizeram o sinal de like com os polegares, fora do carro. Não era ninguém que conhecessemos. Foi muito fixe.
Nós já lá não temos família, mas temos amigos e as nossas lembranças de criança estão em Mira.
Nós nascemos em Toronto, o meu pai era da Madeira, Machico e a nossa mãe de Mira, mas conheceram-se no Canadá e nascemos lá.
J.D. – Do you ever thought about coming to Portugal and work here?
Alguma vez pensaram em vir trabalhar para Portugal?
Gabriel – Actually, yes. When we get to Portugal, we have a diferent atmosphere, and it’s funny, i was thinking about that today that you clear your mind when you are here. The vibe of the people is much different from North America so i think it’s more welcoming, artistically speaking. You feel inspired. Of course, i speak for myself… i really feel more inspired here.
Por acaso, sim. Quando vimos a Portugal, temos uma atmosfera diferente e é engraçado, que estive a pensar nisso hoje, que limpamos a mente quando estamos em Portugal. As vibrações das pessoas são muito diferentes das da América do Norte, penso que as boas vindas são diferentes em termos artísticos. Uma pessoa sente a inspiração. Claro que, eu falo por mim… sinto-me mesmo inspirado quando cá venho.
Bela – And also, you are exposed to another version of being Portuguese. There is a huge portuguese community in Canada and in Toronto where we spent a lot of time, but it’s like a diferent version of it. When you come here is like the real thing and there is the emigrant version of it and it’s quite diferent. So here we breath a lot of fresh air. Here the music we create is diferent. Even here in Portugal smells diferent.
Também ficamos expostos a outra versão do que é ser português. Há uma grande comunidade portuguesa no Canadá e em Toronto onde passamos muito tempo da nossa vida, mas é uma versão diferente. Quando aqui vimos é mais real e lá é outra versão bem diferente. Aqui respiramos muito ar fresco. Aqui a música que criamos é diferente. Até o cheiro é diferente em Portugal.
Fernando – One thing i am sure. What people will be thinking when they heard this, is something like “oh things are so much harder in Portugal than in North America”. I personaly desagree. For the band it’s no easy here, in Canada or America. I think it’s hard anywhere. I think the challenge might be english speaking, the universal language. But, english music, wether we are in Portugal, States or Toronto… it can be can heard online. It is possible to be in Portugal and be sucessful out of it since music lives up to it.
Numa coisa estou certo… as pessoas vão pensar, quando lerem isto, que “a vida é mais dura em Portugal do que na América do Norte”. Eu, pessoalmente discordo. Penso que é difícil onde quer que estejamos. Para a banda não é mais fácil nos Estados Unidos, ou no Canadá. Acho que o desafio é mesmo o não se falar inglês, que é a língua universal. Mas a música inglesa quer se esteja em Portugal, na América ou em Toronto… está mais facilitada por causa da internet.
É possível ter-se um projecto em Portugal e ser-se bem sucedido lá fora, desde que a música se sobreponha.
J.D. – Did you tought about making a portuguese music album?
Alguma vez pensaram em fazer um álbum em português?
Bela – I think we speak portuguese, enough to get buy. We would like to speak perfectly portuguese but we don’t. The challenge is not only the grammar because you can ask help for that, but it’s more like… we write about stories about the day to day life, it’s like real life stories and dreams, very personal and i think until we can think in portuguese, it’s a little bit dificult and seems almost manufactured and not sincere, if you are trying to make it work and fit in it, or translate directly. It looses a little bit it’s autenticity. So personaly i don’t feel confortable to write in portuguese yet. We have in our current single “Beautiful Disaster” a part in portuguese, so maybe that’s the first step… so we’ll see.
Acho que falamos um português suficientemente bom para vendermos discos. Gostávamos de falar um português perfeito, mas não o fazemos. O desafio nem é a gramática porque para isso pedíamos ajuda. A questão é que escrevemos acerca das histórias do dia-a-dia, são histórias da vida real, muito pessoais e acho que até conseguirmos pensar em português, é um pouco difícil o fazermos porque iria parecer algo construído e nada sincero. Perde a sua autenticidade. Por isso, pessoalmente ainda não me sinto confortável a escrever em português. Temos no nosso novo single “A Beautiful Disaster” uma parte em português, por isso quem sabe é o começo… vamos ver.
J.D. – How about you, Oscar and Shane would you like to live and work in Portugal?
E vocês, Oscar e Shane gostariam de viver e trabalhar em Portugal?
O.B. and S.F. – Yeahhhh (laughs)… can we?…
Simmmmm (risos)… podemos?…
J.D. – How have been the portuguese audience, how have been the feedback to your music?
Como tem sido o público português? Como têm reagido à vossa música?
Bela – We’ve been here before, making some TV shows and other things and we are going to start next week the concerts, but so far it’s being very warm the welcoming. Everyone here want to feed you (laughs)… and they keep in touch. If you keep a open heart, other people get an open heart and it’s nice to feel that faithfull friendship with strong connection.
Já cá temos estado, mas a fazer coisas em televisão e noutros suportes e vamos começar entretanto os nossos concertos para a semana, mas até agora está a ser muito calorosa a nossa recepção. Todos nos querem alimentar (risos)… e manter o contacto. Se mantivermos o coração aberto, as outras pessoas também o abrem e isso é muito bom sentir essa amizade verdadeira juntamente com uma ligação forte.
J.D. – How about your references, tell me about them?
Falem-me acerca das vossas referências musicais?
Oscar Bass
Oscar Bass – For me, one of my favourite bands is Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but i really like a lot jazz fusion with EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and dub step and some rock. I like a little bit of everything. I can name a lot of bands but i guess we have limited time (laughs)… if i start i wouldn’t be able to stop (laughs).
Para mim uma das minhas bandas favoritas são os Red Hot Chilli Peppers, mas eu gosto de jazz de fusão junto com música de dança electrónica, dub step e algum rock. Gosto um bocadinho de tudo. Posso nomear umas quantas bandas, mas penso que o tempo não ia chegar (risos)… se eu começo, depois não consigo parar (risos).
Shane Fester – I really have a wide range of influences for my music, because i play a lot of diferent instruments as well. In Ménage i play guitar, and for some guitar players like me, i have favourite local bands, like “Boys Night Out”. They are like Ménage, energetic, they are punk, rock and are pop too. They have all that stuff. But i would say that i like The Smiths, Morrisey, David Bowie… and Ménage (laughs), but i can’t say that because i am in the band too (laughs)… ok, and i have two Ménage t-shirts (laughs)…
Shane Fester e Bela
Eu tenho um grande rol de influências na minha música, porque toco diversos instrumentos. Com os Menáge toco guitarra e nesse sentido tenho bandas favoritas, mas locais como os “Boys Night Out”. Eles são como os Ménage, enérgicos, um pouco punk, rock e também têm pop, existe tudo isto. Mas posso dizer que gosto dos Smiths, Morrisey, David Bowie… e os Ménage (risos), mas não posso dizer isto porque faço parte deles (risos)… ok, e tenho duas t-shirts dos Ménage (risos)…
Fernando – I like the rock bands, those who are energetic and the ones with who i grew up with, but sometimes you feel tired of it and you feel like ear other things, like Melow, or Portished. I guess it depends on the state of mind.
Eu gosto das bandas rock que são enérgicas, e daquelas com as quais eu cresci, mas por vezes cansa-me e apetece-me ouvir outras coisas, como Melow ou Portished. Penso que depende do estado de alma.
Fernando Ferreira e Bela
Bela – I like kind of anything that it’s passionate. I love, ‘My Chemical Romance’ because when i watch them live, they make me wanna be on stage. They don’t just sing, the whole body is in it, to it. I love like anything that makes me feel alive… for example i love Jay-Z, but it’s diferent music.
Eu gosto de tudo o que é apaixonante. Eu adoro ‘My Chemical Romance’, porque quando os vejo ao vivo apetece-me ir para o palco. Eles não cantam só, eles sentem a música com o corpo. Eu gosto de tudo o que me fizer sentir viva… por exemplo gosto também de Jay-Z que é bastante diferente.
Gabriel – I like two couple different specters of music. I grew up on heavier music and i think our band has that kind of heavyness, but i am trying to be more decisive. I’ve been listening a lot of Bee Gees and i’ve been listening Jay Jay Johanson, because before he was acepted by Hollywood, he was doing is own thing, a little Jazz, i really like to have him, playing with us. That would be amazing. There is also, for instance, Smashing Pumpkins, Queen… the larger than life bands.
O meu gosto divide-se em dois espectros. Eu cresci a ouvir música pesada, e penso que a nossa banda tem algum desse peso, mas estou a tentar ser mais assertivo. Tenho ouvido muito Bee Gees, e tenho ouvido Jay Jay Johanson, porque antes de ele ser aceite em Hollywood, fazia as suas coisas, muito dele, como jazz. Sinceramente adoraria tê-lo a tocar connosco. Isso seria espectacular. Há também os Smashing Pumpkins, Queen… bandas maiores que a vida.
J.D. – Who would you like to have, opening your concerts?
Quem vocês gostariam de ter a actuar nos vossos concertos?
Bela – I would love to go on tour with ‘The Deftones’, if that was possible. They feel like a family, or a community… like, you are a part of Deftones, or you’re not and i think Ménage in a smaller scale, right now feel in this way too. We try to extend the family.
Eu gostava de fazer uma tour com os Deftones se fosse possível. Eles parecem família, ou uma comunidade… como a dizer, ou és parte dos Deftones, ou não és, e eu penso que os Ménage numa escala mais pequena neste momento sentem-se assim. Tentamos ampliar a família.
Fernando – I never thought about that question… hum… i don’t really know…
Nunca pensei nisso… hum… não estou mesmo a ver…
Bela e Gabriel Ferreira
Gabriel – I have to go with ‘Led Zeppelin’, that’s the ones i would tour with… forever (laughs)… or ‘The Who’.
I had a friend who left to tour with The Genesis and they do contests where they in edge the doors and bring them down to the pool and have races on the top of the terrace. We need to do that (laughs)… that’s a tour lifestyle choice… desmanteling doors (laughs)…
Eu teria de ir com os ‘Led Zeppelin’… são mesmo eles… para sempre (risos)… ou os ‘The Who’.
Tive um amigo que fez uma tour com os Genesis, e conta que eles desmontavam as dobradiças das portas e faziam corridas até à piscina na cobertura. Precisamos de fazer isso (risos) isso é que era uma tour com escolha de estilo de vida… desmontar portas (risos)…
Shane – In my local kind of mind set, centered in Canada, i would say that “Alexisonfire” is a band that will be cool to tour with. They just got back together and they are super heavy and i think it could probably work.
Na minha inspiração em casa, no Canadá, eu diria que gostaria de ir em tour com os ‘Alexisonfire’. Eles voltaram a juntar-se e são ‘muito pesados’ e penso que poderia resultar muito bem.
Oscar – I am too terryfied to open to anyone. I think it’s like insane (laughs)… i don’t know… well, ok, i think it would be very cool to open for a band like ‘Savages’, because they are at the point of their carreer where they play in small venues, like super intimate, with ridiculous parties all the time… that would be sick (laughs)…
Eu estou demasiado apavorado para ir em tour com alguém. Eu acho que é uma loucura (risos)… não sei, mas ok, era muito fixe ir em tour com os Savages, porque eles estão numa fase que já fazem concertos mais pequenos, mais íntimos, onde acontecem festas ridículas o tempo todo (risos), seria muito marado (risos)…
J.D. – “The Great American Lie” is your second album, first in Portugal. What it’s all about?
“The Great American Lie” é o vosso segundo álbum, primeiro em Portugal. Do que trata?
Bela – Is like a mini story or a mini movie of what we go through. And like i said, most of our songs are about tour lives and about the band and hope for the future.
É como uma mini história ou um telefilme que fala do que temos passado. E como disse, a maioria das nossas músicas são sobre tours e as nossas vidas, e acerca da esperança no futuro.
Fernando – The title is about our experience of emigration and about the story of our parents that came from Portugal, and about North America and the amazing opportunity of a better life… but that is kind of an illusion… we don’t have a better life necessarily. Like everything is what you make of it. The mentality of people who emigrate, is like… if they want, they could build an amazing life wherever they are. You could be wealthier in a financial level, but not really in the lifestyle. You are working and eating a sandwish at the same time, so there’s a lot of things you giving up, and that’s “The Great American Lie” that is not necessarily the Great American Dream.
O título é acerca da nossa experiência como emigrantes e acerca da vida dos nossos pais que vieram de Portugal, e acerca da América do Norte e da fantástica oportunidade de ter uma vida melhor… mas isso é uma ilusão… nós não temos uma vida melhor necessariamente. Tal como tudo, o importante é o que fazemos com o que temos. A mentalidade das pessoas que emigram, é do género… se quiserem conseguem construir uma vida fantástica onde quer que estejam. Pode-se ser mais saudável financeiramente, mas não no estilo de vida. Estamos a trabalhar e a comer uma sandes ao mesmo tempo, por isso há umas quantas coisas que se tem de desistir, e isso é aquilo que chamamos de “Great Americam Lie” que não é necessariamente o grande sonho americano.
J.D. – Where are you going to be, touring?
Por onde vão andar a actuar?
Bela – We are going to be in Setúbal, and then we are going to Coimbra and Viseu at FNACs. In the 14th we will be at Cais do Sodré in Roterdão Club, and we’ve another show in Cascais. Then we are going to do some concerts in North America and we hope to be back touring with an American band, but we cannot discuss it yet. In September we will be touring in China and will be back in Portugal in late September/October.
Vamos estar em Setúbal, depois vamos a Coimbra e Viseu actuar nas FNACs. A 14 de Abril vamos actuar no Cais do Sodré no Roterdão Club e ainda vamos ter um outro concerto em Cascais. Depois vamos para a América do Norte e esperamos voltar cá onde vamos actuar com uma banda americana, a qual ainda não podemos revelar o nome. Em Setembro vamos fazer uma tour pela China e então em fins de Setembro, inícios de Outubro voltamos a Portugal para o tal concerto.
J.D. – What would you like to say to the persons who could read this interview?
O que gostariam de dizer às pessoas que possam vir a ler esta entrevista?
Bela – Thank you for any form of being part of this, even if it’s playing one of our songs one time, just because that makes us feel we are not wasting our lives. So thanks you for being a part of this in any way even if you just ear now and then, when you are in the mood for some Ménage.

Gabriel – I hope we inspire you, if don’t, i hope you inspire someone to do something better. This is all about getting a reaction for people, wether you like it or dislike it. Just get a reaction.
Espero que vos tenhamos inspirado… se não, espero que inspirem outras pessoas a serem melhores. Tudo o que fazemos é sobre arrancar uma reacção às pessoas, seja ela má ou boa. O importante é reagir.
Shane – I would say that, for anyone who is reading this, we would hope to see you on our shows, because i think that seeing us playing, is a cool experience, that should be part of the Ménage experience.
Eu diria que, a quem venha a ler esta entrevista, que nos encontremos nos nossos concertos, porque acho que ver-nos tocar, é uma experiência muito cool, e que deve fazer parte da experiência Ménage.
